Police seize Geelong sex attack mobile.

Police seize Geelong sex attack mobile. : "Today five men who were wanted for questioning turned themselves in to police after video footage was released by the media."

This case hasn't been heard so the guilt and details are not as yet established. That is for the law. This is not the first time we have read about people filming acts of violence on mobile phones. Why would you? What would you do with it? Once it's on a phone it is damning evidence , isn't it? Or am I wrong? So why would you want to drop yourself right in it? Is it important for people to see themselves do things these days no matter how bad? Are they removed from their actions? I just do not understand how their minds operate. If they are caught then obviously the images can be broadcast to help catch them? In this instance the men who were wanted for questioning went to the police so there is some sense of responsibility there.I don't understand why you'd do something bad, put it on film which can be broadcast and thereby be totally accountable for what you do. Why do it? The films can keep people honest, I can see that...but that's after the event. I just do not get it.
