Families are forced onto skid row : "FAMILIES are being forced to live out of cars and in motels as a rental crisis and a lack of affordable housing creates a new breed of desperate and homeless Australians."
We cannot call ourselves civilised and have this. I have blogged about it before. Thre is enough food and money in Australia for everyone. Everyone. No one should have to go without and we can still have those entitled rich people. I hate this. I know there are problems with drugs, gambling etc etc but there are people who just don't have any money to house and feed their children and rental prices have become ridiulous. There is not a range of housing. It's wrong. We need to clean up our act and our consciences.It's not as if you wouldn't get community support to help people in dire need.
