AdelaideNow... Cancer finally claims life of piano prodigy: "Dr Houston Dunleavy, of the University of Wollongong, said of his friend: 'He was one of the greatest characters I've ever met – articulate and superbly musical with immense drive and immense imagination.
'His was a short but packed life and he gave us an example of how to lead a life that had to burn very brightly and very quickly.'"
Oh dear. I am crying. This story is so profoundly moving and touching. That Aaron McMillan and all his talent and courage should be removed from this earth is so very sad. I have not heard of him before but it is quite clear from the article that he was not only immensely talented, he was inspirational in his capacity to bring beauty and courage to others. The people who knew him obviously cared enough about him not to let him slip from this world without knowing how much he was honoured and that is so touching. I can never understand why people who do so much good have to suffer and be taken from us.
