Defiant drivers talk and text

AdelaideNow... Defiant drivers talk and text: "An SGIC survey has found almost 50 per cent of respondents admitted to using a hand-held mobile phone while driving.

About 58 per cent of young people under 30 also admitted to sending or receiving text messages while driving."
The price of delusion is high. When you think you are invincible and the centre of the universe, well, who is responsible? Who cares? Who made them that way? Mobile phones are like cars, they are dictating the terms of our existence and we change everything to accommodate them instead of wondering whether the ultimate cost is worth it. We are hopeless at getting things into perspective. I can't belive our lives are run by bits of metal and lumps of plastic.
