Rubik nerds bask in super-stardom

It's hip to be square again as Rubik nerds bask in super-stardom: "The original Rubik's Cube - which won 'toy of the year' in Britain in 1980 - is plastic, with nine coloured squares on each face. The object is to move the pieces around until each side of the cube is a solid colour."

Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I used to Rubik with the best of them...I am sure mine is around the place somewhere. I could get the first face out and then I learned how to do the rest of it. People in Adelaide were cubing everywhere and we used to have speed challenges...but this new generation of Rubik cubers must be incredible to do it blind folded or with their feet. It would be good in a way to see it take off again because it keeps people amused for hours and it does train their hand eye co ordination, their accuracy, their memory and test their patience!
