It's raining at last!

Downpour at last: "OPEN brollies and smiling faces were seen around Adelaide today after the heavens opened over the city and the rest of the state."
Yes! Rain..rain and more rain. It's been raining all day and we have had to scuttle around the place and dig out our jackets and winter woollies. It's become progressively colder over the day and a bit of a shock after our lovely warm, sunny weather. Suddenly we are housebound again. The girl at the supermarket though was saying everyone had been running in and out all day to get things and they'd had a busier day that ussual . There was a constant stream of people as I was there. no one was buying lots of stuff, but they all knew what they were getting and it was duck in and duck out. Bit odd really, but fun and everyone was so excited we had rain. For a start it means we are off the hook witht he watering for a few days...that has been quite a burden but more improtantly it means our trees and native fauna can get a decent drink. The poor kangaroos and koala have been so thirsty.
