Ebola virus link to three organ donor deaths

Ebola virus link to three organ donor deaths : "The presence of the virus in the recipients is thought to be a world first. One of the New York team said: 'The discovery of this virus is of national and international significance.'"

Experts from New York's Columbia University put the reserach togeth on this and got to the bottom of it. Than donor died in Dandenong and the transplants were in different hospitals and we couldn't work out why the recipients had died. It's amazing how the world co operates and how the information can be tied together across the planet. It's great but not great for the four who are no longer with us. The main thing is we understand how this happened. I am just wondering if we can harbour diseases and things which have no real affect on us ( was the brain haemorrhage connect to this virus?) but would affect others if we donate organs? It will have to be clarified and we shall have to research ways of managing this. Has it happened before? We have become more sophisiticated in our capacity to understand how things occur, maybe we didn't realise before.
