There are days when life just sucks. To lose the leadership vote, to be told your younger brother has died and then to be put into a press conference is truly the pits. Kim Beazley has given Australia and the Labour Party so much of his time and life and it has been quality. This will become clear over time. Now he has the clear message to start looking after himself and his own life. If nothing else, he can now focus on the things which will add to him and his value as a great human being.
