Plans for Beaconsfield trust fund scrapped.

Plans for Beaconsfield trust fund scrapped. :

"No-one could be found to manage the fund as a trustee, but the miners may still get money.

The company KordaMentha will try to collect debts from Allstate Explorations, and if the mine reopens and the debts are repaid, the miners will receive the money."

Pretty shoddy treatment. That town, those people and , in particular, those miners kept two of our miners alive. They didn't think about the cost, the inconvenience, the hardship. They thought about two workers who were precariously trapped and who had all of us glued to the media in the faint hope they would be rescued. Well, they were. The miners and the people provided the guts and stamina to keep the show on the road. Now the dust has settled , it's pretty poor to neglect them and consider they can just be fobbed off. Fortunately , they have already shown they have blood in their vains and compassion in their hearts. Doesn't count for anything on a business plan because you can't make profit from it.
