Climate solution 'must include nuclear power' :

There only needs to be one Chernobyl. The deliterous impact of nuclear power when it goes wrong is very , very long term and incredibly devastating and destructive. The facts still need to be put before us. We still need to have a log, hard look at all the information. As far as I understand it , nuclear power could only ever be an interim measure and will not get us onto any kind of viable road. I am sure if I am wrong, I shall be corrected. There is another type of nuclear power which they haven't quite developed yet which might be more useful to us. To be honest, I want to hear the information from experts , researchers and scientists who know about these things. But Chernobyl is a one off you cannot afford to have. One is too many. Renewable energy is the only way to go because it is sustainable and it does not create the greenhouse gases. Solar power, wind power....hydro electric power too would have its short comings. I think it's important we get it all out on the table and look at it.
