What are Manners For?:
"Good Manners are a significant part of who you are. They are about Civility, Mutual Respect and Shared Values. A society without these three is not a society at all but a civil war zone."
This site has a very detailed and common sense approach to modern manners . It covers everything including business manners. It's a good reminder of what we need to enhance and bring back into our society because it has become a bit of a free for all and our children are lost in that. They learn from us. If we are vague and confused it means they because directionless with regard to values. It boils down to protocols which ecourage and underpin respect for other people.
