Selling a profitable answer to water crisis

The Advertiser: Selling a profitable answer to water crisis :

"GE Water's general manager for Australia and New Zealand, Nan-Maree Schoerie, said potential desalination plants for SA mining projects proposed by BHP Billiton and Iluka were areas of interest. Iluka had asked GE to submit ideas while BHP is an existing customer of GE, which runs a water treatment plant at Olympic Dam."

Water is a commodity to be bought and sold now. Once taken for granted it is now "scarce", inspite of the flooding, inspite of run off, inspite of huge rain. South Australia was always touted as the driest state on the driest continent. Maybe it is still. We have "water" projects happening here left, right and centre and profit , profit, profit from something which was just plain available. People are looking for water projects and water markets. Who would have thought? Who is GE water and why do they want our potential? I shall look it up. I love the Net. Heaven only knows someone needs to do something with Adelaide water. It absolutely reeks of chlorine at the moment and there is another taste we can't quite identify. It also tastes thick and milky. It is weird so we are all filtering like mad. Adelaide water is disgusting and it is in crisis.
