The Biggest Loser

The Biggest Loser
This week has been very much about the biggest loser on the inside and very little about the one who is focussed on weight loss, healthy lifestyle and approach and redesigning their body image. I felt so sorry for Adro (right) who summed it up last night when he lost very little weight, is up for eviction and said he was supposedly in the best environment for losing weight and he had no idea what was going on. He has worked hard.Histrionics. Amateur dramatics. The alliance. I'd love to see Bob and Jillian write their memoirs of this show and the other trainers who have been involved outside when contestants have been evicted. I am sure they could put it all straight and have us all laughing as well. The raft challenge was good but I spent the whole time wondering whether Tracy and Artie were losing so Fiona and Shane could keep their immunity and then it gives them four solid team mates. I am currently thinking Kristie may well vote Ruth and Adro off and yet they have done everything to keep what ought to be the focus of the show on track. As has Wal. (left). He came up as the biggest loser again this week, apart from those who have left the show, and he has done it consistently. The only ones who hold the weight loss up there consistently with him are the ones who have left the show and now have personal trainers. Their weight loss has been impressive so my question is, what is this show all about? We have two superb trainers who are surplus to requirements because of all the histrionics and cunning plans. I love Bob. His face says it all for me and I thank him for that. Jillian meets the dramatic performances half way so she can shut them down. Their skills are superb. So Shane and Fiona have a great strategy by putting on weight this week because they are immune and Tracey hasn't worked out the 2 Kg weight penalty has made absolutely NO difference to the outcome. So we have a number of contestants for the biggest loser on the inside. I hope the show regains its balance because my heart is with Adro and with Wal, who plays a game, but he is in there with the skills, the healthy eating the weight loss etc. I should also mention AJ, the compere, who is so patient and calm but very direct and honest in her approach. She rewards them well for the right thing, but keeps the truth in front of them...to no avail. They are the alliance!
