Australia donates cricket

The Australian: Australia donates cricket :

"The donation included more than 100 bats, 150 pairs of pads, junior cricket equipment, gloves, helmets, stumps, wicket-keeping gear and more.

The equipment was donated and collected by the Bankstown District Cricket Club in Sydney."

This is a fantastic gesture by the Bankstown Cricket Club. It's something we hear too little about. As normal everyday citizens we care about each other from nation to nation and we do things quite willingly to help each other. As people we relate from country to country and culture to culture. I know we have also had great links between American and Australian quilters for the benefit of both countries. We do care and we do value each other and we need to keep telling each other we do this so we don't forget it.
