I can't not blog about this! I have blogged about the Beerenberg products before because they are produced up in the hills and the quality is superb. The strawberry farm is fantastic. We have another one here locally, but the drive up to Hahndorf is a good jaunt and to pick the strawberries is great...because you can pick heaps!! Really good value and lots of tourists do it because they can't believe their luck. The picking season is from October to May and if you don't want to pick...just buy the jam. It really is full of strawberries. Beerenberg, however, is more than just a jam company. It has a number of other delicious products. My other favorite is their pickled onions!!
