A-380

I heard the super jumbo landing being talked through over the phone on Radio National this morning when I was out in my car. It was actually quite fun to have someone report it as it was happening and she was calling the plane spotters "aerosexuals" which was fun too. The wing span was wider than the runway but the landing was perfect. Plenty of people were out in Brisbane to see the A-380 land. No one has said, not on the news and not in this article, who was on board and who this pilot of historical significance was. Perhaps more than one pilot. They surely need to be praised and made much fuss of!! It's here for the 85th anniversary of Qantas and will be painted in Qantas colours. Apparently there will be no commercial use for a couple of years. 850 passengers...that's a lot.
