Former ABC news reader dies.

Former ABC news reader dies. :

"The former television news presenter, Clive Hale, who helped the ABC record some of its best ratings, has died in Sydney aged 68."

This is sad news for me because Clive Hale is someone who was very much a familiar face. He was civilised, human and steady. He brought us news in a very dignified manner and was in complete control of his linguistic and interpersonal skills. He is described in this article as "the ultimate, consummate professional". He just was extremely competent, someone to look up to and someone who brought us news in a human but efficient manner. A man of intergrity who was very good at his job.
