Echidna milk

Echidna milk spikes interest for dairy farmers. :

I hear about this yesterday and I was laughing at the thought of trying to milk echidnas. They are like porcupines and we love them. They are one of our beloved native species. They are thinking echidna milk will help cow milk production. I wish they'd find another use for it and just let the cows give normal amounts of milk. It can't be good for them to porduce more than they were meant to. The scientists are looking at how the echidna milk helps the baby echidnas survive outside the womb. Maybe that should be applied to our premature newborns rather than cows and their milk production.
