"Outside the home, however, courts have ruled that most victims must at least attempt to escape before using deadly force, a provision gun advocates say puts victims at greater risk. The proposal removes that requirement if a person has a reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm."

Isn't Florida the popular state for retirees?? I can't see them trying to run away ...hobbling, wobbling, limping, shuffling... I can see that's a good reason for changing the law. Extending gun laws? Well, yes, why not? They are old. All part of the social reform, I suppose. Saves giving them retirement funds. This article says it will turn Florida into the OK Corral. On their own heads be it. I thought Florida was the sunshine state?
