Cooler, but that bill's still hot

The Advertiser: Cooler, but that bill's still hot [20feb05]: "Cooler, but that bill's still hot"

" SOUTH Australia's cool summer and lower wholesale electricity prices are delivering a windfall to power companies, an electricity expert says.

The gain is at the expense of AGL customers – most of the state's 750,000 householders – who pay a 10 per cent summer surcharge from January to March."

What summer?? We haven't had summer. Might have known that the corporations would find a way of making themselves rich at our expense. Unbelieveable. I hate privatised utilities.
