Cold snap could bring snow

Cold snap could bring snow to Adelaide Hills and hail to city: "HOPEFULLY you packed your winter woolies and a raincoat today - a cold snap could lead to snow in the Adelaide Hills and hailstorms in the city."

We did pack hats, gloves, scarves and coats. We even wore them and we are still frozen stiff. It's been cold, wet ...freezing ..... and we are all shivering and miserable because we live in Adelaide and we are used to blue skies and sunny days. We are so grateful for the rain and we have been waxing lyrical about rainwater tanks, green gardens and rain gauges. We are worried about the Murray. We are really worried about Goolwa and we are just too cold for comfort. Heating costs have been brought out into the open. Some people cannot afford to heat their homes adequately and this is scandalous in our city....in this cold and miserable winter weather. We know it's winter. We are doing our best...but like daisies, we are going around with our little petals folded and our heads hanging down.
