Did cigarettes doom Swayze?: "PATRICK Swayze's heavy smoking habit may have caused the aggressive cancer doctors say amounts to a death sentence."

Maybe they did and maybe they didn't. I had a friend who died two years ago from pancreatic cancer and it was quick and very sad. I have another family friend who has survived it for years. Neither of them smoked. Whatever happens to Patrick Swayze, I should like to thank him for Dirty Dancing. It was a film which meant a lot to me and it was an inspiration in my life. I loved him in it and I know he has had his problems since and I have thought about that. He has brought so much joy and yet he seems to have been so troubled himself.maybe we didn't appreciate him enough. Dirty Dancing was fantastic. There won't be another film like that and there is only one Patrick Swayze. I wish him well.
