Used car prices tumbling, research shows

AdelaideNow... Used car prices tumbling, research shows: "Over the long-term, falling used car prices could also have ramifications for the new car market, with bargain prices likely to lure some potential buyers away from new vehicles and into second-hand cars."

It's true, if you don't get the trade in value , you forgo the new car and look for something else. The used car prices have dropped dramatically in the last 3 months. Why? There will be a reason for it and it will become clear. It will disadvantage the new cars. It will make people look for newer and good used bargains. It means a major expense is losing its value. It'll make people rethink cars completely because of petrol prices and the possibility of good public transport systems. Car manufacturers need to be careful. It also means some used car businesses are being pushed out of the market....so something is going on, that's for sure. We'll find out soon enough and it'll be about money! It's a shame because our car market is just popping and we are all having fun with our new/newer cars. We haven't had this much fun in ages!
