Nicolas Sarkozy

This man is getting some coverage in Australia. He has appealed to us. He even made Pete's Space on tele on Rove last night. The presidential elections did get some reasonable coverage over here, but since Sarkozy has won, we seem to have adapted quickly to him for some reason. We like his cabinet line up and it's probably because he walks and talks faster than a lot of politicians and has a good mix of active and itellectual interests . He is younger and you realise it makes a difference. Older people have expertise and knowledge which cannot be denied, but we have seen the same faces for so long. We think he is taking his job and his people seriously by the way he has selected his cabinet. He is certainly well credentialled.
We have just responded psoitively to him and that's good to have a leader that other nations like. It only bodes well for international relations.
