IR policy 'here to stay'

IR policy 'here to stay' : "Labor's controversial new industrial relations policy will stay, opposition industrial relations spokeswoman Julia Gillard says."

Okay, so who is forming the backlash? Why is that? There is also a great deal of criticism of the new IR policies. Where is that coming from? So if business objects, the policy must be wrong and if business approves it must be right? We are running an economic model based purely on business needs. Profit, not people. Not all economies have to be based on business models. What are the disadvantages to business? What are the disadvantages to Mr. and Mrs. Citizen? What are the criticisms of the IR laws? How can those be addressed? We used to have forums for discussing this. Now we get predigested articles in the news which do not actually discuss the whole issue. Bit of a random approach. Where's the sense?
