US ban on Hicks visit to be queried :
"Paul Mullen was preparing to return to Cuba for his second assessment of Mr Hicks, who has spent five years without a trial in the US military prison, when he was told late last week the visit would not go ahead."
As a government it is very easy to spurn the little people and just carry on with your agenda. It's actually good to see our government taking a firm approach to this matter. It's Christmas, the time of goodwill and peace to all men...and David Hick's father has been an absolute model citizen. It would be good if someone could stand alongside him this Christmas because Mr. Hicks senior has done everything impeccably and has treated everyone with the greatest respect. If nothing else, this needs to be heeded and the quality of mercy....
