Wartime values to save the planet:
"'It doesn't matter if it's a tiny bit or a big bit. It's a general attitude to life. We are putting in hazards for our grandchildren. Everything we do goes up and stays up for 100 years in terms of carbon dioxide. The more it does the hotter it will get.'"
I think Sir David Attenborough is right. I think we all need to work to reduce global warming. Every single person needs to do their bit. Some can do more than others. We do need to make it a moral drive. We do need to make it a matter of principle. We have become spoiled and wasteful and we have created damage. We need to pull our heads in and make the supreme effort and we need to get on everyone's case. It does need to be an attitude, a state of mind and a way of life. We made the mess, we need to clean it up and we need to ensure everyone does their bit, no excuses.
