Scientists could make you invisible

Scientists could make you invisible :
"Their work suggests science-fiction portrayals of invisibility, such as the cloaking devices used to hide space ships in Star Trek, might be truly possible."

Scientists on both sides of the Atlantic are claiming that making things and people invisible is now indeed something they can conceive. We have always been entranced by the notion of invisiblity and The Invisible Man has held many, may people in thrall. We have never actually thought of many things and people being invisible. A cloaking device is one thing, making something invisible is quite another...and what would we do with it?? Would we become nosy parkers in the extreme or naughty pranksters? Would it be used for evil? Yes, of course. Nothing we invet has just a good side. As humans we like to find the worst imaginable use for anything...even the mobile phone which can send obscene pictures can also take them, but it can also be use to explode devices. It's not just a phone. Nothing is innocent in our hands. So ...shall we ever recover our innocence or are we stuck in a James Bond film forever?
