Fresh water for Marion Bay

The Advertiser: Fresh water for Marion Bay :

"The desalinated water will be used mainly by the Marion Bay Caravan Park, which accounts for between 40 and 50 kilolitres of water a day in 40C-plus weather.

The water is also expected to be linked to other facilities in the town, including the local tavern."

The desalination plant at Marion Bay is a good place to try it. It has a small population which is augmented by tourists and so the controlled environment with the pressure from tourism is a nice way of testing how desalination goes. I hope it goes well because we seem fixated on water which is fair enough, it is the life blood of any country.
