Why take a car into town when you can start with a riot of handpainted colour at one end and end up in the suave blue and rust at the other? Besides, they have really cleaned up all the stations, put in emergency phones in some of them, installed flatscreens for easy time table reading and then, you get cameras and security personnel as well. I was stunned with how much work had been done to clean up our act, but also to make us feel safer. All done in the typical Adelaide, fuss free way. You just go out there one day and there it all is!! The increase in station personnel was a real asset. I'm impressed!!
