Man charged with rape of girl

The Advertiser: Man charged with rape of girl:

"Police said the 34-year-old man had been arrested and charged with entering a property with intent, rape, indecent treatment of a child under 16 and taking a child for immoral purpose."


Why would a 34 year old man want to rape a seven year old? This is so terrible for the child. We do have good support for children who have suffered crimes such as these and the people dealing with them are usually very effective. We shouldn't have to have them. Why would someone in his thirties rape a child? What is the matter with his head and how did he get like that. I am all for punishment and censure, but I think we really need to have a good, long hard look at these people and figure out what is happening in their lives that makes them want to rape a child rather have an adult sexual relationship with someone. It is happening more frequently so there must be something in our society which is allowing people to get this kind of crooked thinking into their head. It is such sick behaviour. This to me is what Big Brother should be about. Put these guys in a totally camered house and find out where the thinking and behaviour falls apart. We have to do something. We cannot keep sacrificing children and their parents like this. The parents will be beside themselves.
