Australian Cancer Research Foundation Grant

Australian Cancer Research Foundation announces biggest ever private grant: "The $5 million grant recipient will be decided by a panel of internationally recognised scientists, chaired by Professor Mathew Vadas and including Professor Sir David Lane. It will be awarded to an Australian researcher who provides the most compelling proposal for cancer research including potential cures for cancer, cancer prevention and the treatment of cancer patients."

This is one of the things we do with our funds. This is the biggest grant we have offered and the site gives the specifications. We have just got to keep the research going because we have made so many break throughs in recent times in various countries. Swedish researchers worked out recently a method of finding out which women would respond better to breast cancer treatment, we've made a break through with a cervical cancer vaccine...we just have to keep the researchers going and projects financed. This grant will be awarded in June next year.
