I much prefer this weather. I don't do cold and wet. This is brilliant. All year I wait for the heat and then listen to everyone complaining. They live in Adelaide in Australia and they complain because it is hot and would rather have it cold and wet!
It has been horribly cold. You can't open the doors and windows. you can't wander in and out at leisure. You can't eat outside, play outside, be outside. All you can do is pile on a mountain of clothes - layer upon layer of warmth - and huddle by the fire. In a courageous mood you can brave the elements and go for one of those bracing walks they bang on about.
Let it be nice and warm in Adelaide. Summer .
