Digital TV

I have digital TV on my dingly Dell. It sorted out the hiccough s of reception and it's cool! I can now swap freely from channel to channel without the dreaded floating point operation! I am using an Artec TV USB tuner and a cheap UHF/VHF/FM antenna and it's now running smoothly and I am so happy! Oddly enough when I asked the windows media centre to scan for stations last night , it took ages and found none. The Artec software picked the Adelaide stuff up straight away. It is important to get the antenna in the right place. My UHF dish is facing south and the rabbit's ears are facing south at 90 degrees. Odd, but still. New adventure in computing. Incidentally I loaded Paintshop Pro 5 which has been on every computer I have ever owned. I cannot use Adobe or anything like that. I am just not that patient. My Paintshop Pro loaded on my Dell and just took off. Who says Vista cannot handle obsolete software? I actually have found  it to be very good at managing all my own programmes. I have given up nothing. The background on the desktop is one of my photos of Anse Vata beach in New Caledonia. Fantastic spot!
