Carbon Capture

"Simon Roz of Greenpeace says carbon capture will not be commercially viable for 40 years, and the Government needs climate change solutions now."
I am so confused! This article seems to be the opposite of what has been previously said , or maybe I ma confusing separate issues. Isn't this about sequestering carbon? Haven't we been working hard on carbon management? There is a great, but long, article here which discusses quite well what we have been doing, trailling and managing. it would seem we have been doing more than we think and this article now has muddied the waters..or is it me?  We need to put carbon back into our soil. In 200 years we have lost 50% of our carbon in the soil...white settlement has done the land a whole lot of good, heh?
