This is sad news. He is a household name and so well known here. Part of our landscape and radio history. He was actually a radio announcer you often saw in town. He was one of us. He did a lot for the community and had a great sense of humour. He could be hilarious and it was that humour which would get us to rally when we were needed for something. Kind heart, kind soul. Just a really nice bloke. I am glad he died peacefully and I am glad he was surrounded by those who cared about him. He certainly cared about us.Will miss that big voice.
