Second empty vessel found off Qld coast-: "The six-metre barnacle-encrusted fibreglass boat, which was yesterday spotted in waters off the Sunshine Coast, is the second mystery vessel to be found in Queensland waters in less than a week."
The family members of the catamaran found drifting a week a go are obviouly still trying to locate their family members. The 3 men are still missing and no one is really sure what has happened to them and they haven't been found .Apparently they were fishing just before they disappeared. The official air and sea search has ended as of yesterday. This second boat is registerd in Noumea and appears to have been adrift for months. The fuel tank is full and the keys are in the ignition but the boat was upturned. Hopefully we can locate the authorities in Noumea and try and work out what happened with this boat and who might have been aboard. Obviously it's dangerous out on our oceans right now.
