300,000 Australians 'use cannabis daily'

300,000 Australians 'use cannabis daily' :

"One third of Australians have used cannabis and 300,000 people are using it on a daily basis, the national drug council says.

Concerned by misinformation about cannabis and its reputation as a soft drug, the Australian National Council on Drugs (ANCD) has launched a new booklet to educate users and their families."

How does it compare with the number of drinkers? People are becoming very substance dependent. Significant numbers of people. How come? Should have an interesting impact on education and employment. The fallout will be wonderful I am sure, but we let it happen. You get what you accept and you let people create their justifications. How many will be dependent because we seem to have people who do pot pills and plonk. Why? No more the clever country but no wonder everyone is so happy and laid back. Bang goes the productivity and the profit. Never mind. The money will go to a good overseas home I am sure.
