Adelaide Airport

3 months but who's counting? :

"IT opened amid much fanfare but, three months later, South Australia's $260 million Adelaide Airport is still not operating."

We had an international airport and then it went and we haven't had one for years. We were so excited to have one back, especially because it was so swish and state of the art. Now we have the ongoing debris in the fuel pipe problem and understandably it's taking some time to rectify. Unbelievable problem but we'll wait. We are still enthusiastic about it,and we can't believe we are not allowed to use something so fantastic. South Australians are pretty pragmatic. We'll wait until it is ready because we do not want any stupid things to happen because the airport wasn't in order. Bit like the big , fancy shopping centre at Marion. Took them years to fix the leaks and the poor shop owners were out there in the mall on rainy days with their wet vacuums. The undercover parking was the place your car got really soaked. I assume it is fixed by now. I am one of the few who never shops there. I took a slide on the wet surface and having broken my foot once just before that, I decided not to tempt fate. Would be nice to get updates on the airport saga , though. Haven't heard anything for a while.
