Australians to continue texting in the new year

Australians to continue texting in the new year : "'It seems Australia's appetite for text and picture messaging knows no bounds with Telstra seeing a 62 per cent increase in the number of messages sent by our customers last financial year,' Mr Taylor said."
Txts and pics. Well, who'd've thought but it is just second nature! But they are talking 2.3 trillion New Year text messages for tomorrow night...that is a lot of trillion!! We've adapted because if you are not with the person then texting is the polite way of contacting them without barging in on their life with a call. That way you can establish whether to make voice contact or not if you want to. It's actually etiquette in action!!

Presidential contenders hit last lap of race to nomination

Presidential contenders hit last lap of race to nomination : "Most polls have shown Mrs Clinton in a very tight and fluid race with rivals Mr Obama and Mr Edwards. Mrs Clinton has led in national polls but strategists argue that a win in Iowa could give her the momentum to seal the nomination."

It'll be good to watch this race because there are some interesting candidates. I'd like to see Hillary Clinton win because I think she is worthy of being a President and she is a credible, well credentialled , experienced leader. It would be really good to see how a woman would tackle that top job. It was a shame France couldn't back Mme Royal when she got so close. We've seen what men can do in the top jobs, we need to see what woman can offer our world. This is why the situation in Pakistan is so untenable. Who will benefit form a destabilised country and who will benefit from losing a very competent woman from top leadership? It is frustrating our so called enlightened world cannot see itself clear to allowing women success and to giving them the skills and experience they need to give and operate at the top. It's ineffectual human relationships and a real weakness in our social fabric. I hope the people in Pakistan will be able to overcome their anger and grief and think this one through coldly and strategically.

Swim with sharks in bite-proof suit

Swim with sharks in bite-proof suit : "IT'S the latest in high-tech shark protection for divers - and it's only $US20,000 ($22,886)."

Nice if you can afford it! The rest of us will have to rely on our life savers, shark patrol planes and good ole common sense. The creator of the suit, Jeremiah Sullivan took a lot of shark bites as he tested it and said he had no significant injuries. It is a major break through and will be well worth it for those people who need to work underwater for scientific purposes....rather him than me, though.

New efficient bulb sees the light

New efficient bulb sees the light: "Experts have found a way to make Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) brighter and use less power than energy efficient light bulbs currently on the market."

Some people are incredibly clever, innovative and positive. It's a shame others are so negative in their impact. This nano-imprint lithography will transform the lighting in our homes. I gather it will save carbon but what about the recycling aspect of it? That is an issue we still need to deal with. Hoping the lights won't all be green...not exactly flattering light!!

Hicks released from Yatala

AdelaideNow... Hicks released from Yatala - but its freedom at a price: "He thanked his family and supporters, and said: 'Right now I'm looking forward to some quiet time with my wonderful father, my dad, my family and my friends.'"

I am so happy for Mr. Hicks senior. That man is so down to earth, so grounded, so sensible, so patient and so understanding, he doesn't even realise how special he is. He is such a good father and has shown remarkable skill in dealing with such an extraordinary family and world situation. This must be a proud day for him but he probably cannot believe all his years of common sense wisdom have paid off. He is the best father anyone could hope to have and I wish him peace and happiness. He has suffered too much for too long..and yes, they need peace and quiet to sort themselves and everything out and David Hicks' father needs time to carefully assess his new reality in his typical diplomatic way. He is no fool but here is no sense of self satisfaction either. He really is a remarkable man.

Nation of hairdressers, accountants

Nation of hairdressers, accountants : "The female share of the teaching profession has also risen over the past decade, with almost 90per cent of the 139,000 new teaching jobs going to women."

We have to get people back into primary industry. It's not a strong economy when the bulk of employment is in service industries. Fortunately mining has been booming like at the turn of the last century. So, why aren't men going into teaching?

Holidaymakers warned against feeding wildlife

Holidayers warned against feeding wildlife : "'Kangaroos have naturally evolved to eat natural things, food that's found in the bush, so a kangaroo that's fed a pack of jelly beans obviously isn't going to react positively to that experience, and may well become quite sick,' he said."

Pretty irresponsible and thoughtless to hand out jelly beans or whatever to kangaroos. Is that serious? It's really silly to give non nutritious food to anyone and to give it to our wild life is really negligent. Bad enough we cannot sustain ourselves properly without making holes in our fauna. I do wish we'd think. Sound like an old school ma'am but honestly, it's almost criminal...to feed ourselves with rubbish and then put rubbish in the mouths of animals. Most of us are pretty good at knowing what to do when. There are times where we have to leave water and food out for birds and kangaroos. The heat, the lack of rain and the dryness have a big impact on their environment and a bit of a helping had now and again helps them to survive because we have destroyed their vegetation, so I think we need to be mindful of that. It's about education and awareness. We need to teach people what is the right thing because a lot of people have just grown up in houses with pavers and pergolas all around. They just wouldn't know .

Japan's inmates dislike 'unstylish' pyjamas

Japan's inmates dislike 'unstylish' pyjamas: survey : "Japanese prisoners dislike their unstylish pyjamas, feel their cells are too small and want better meals, a government survey has found."

Well, if they do not like their unstylish pyjamas, they will just have to stop their unstylish lifestyles. Seriously, an article like this is only going breed ill will and is very demeaning to 2007. By now we ought to be able to do three things. We ought to be able to get the right people in gaol. We ought to be able to provide a stable, humane penal system and we ought to be able to work out why people commit crimes so we can stop our society from creating people like this. Too often we find the people in prisons have had horrendous upbringings, they are mentally ill, they have problems with addiction, drugs and a lack of skills. There are people who are totally unsafe for us to have in our communities and unfortunately we cannot fix everyone. We do not even understand everyone. We need to think about how we can resolve some of these cases. We won't fix it all and it won't be fast because cognitive restructuring takes time. An article like this just keeps creating the divide instead of the problem solving strategies we need...I don't think PJs have anything to do with it.

Twin girls born in Perth freeway tunnel

Twin girls born in Perth freeway tunnel : "Both little girls and their mother were transported to hospital and are doing well."

Well, that's a Christmas present and a Christmas this family will never forget. The police were obviously very prompt at attending the delivery and had some good skills if they delivered twins in the tunnel along with the paramedics.

Whale shark numbers increasing

Whale shark numbers increasing, study finds : "'And maybe take that message home that we really need to understand more about our marine environment and our threatened species and hopefully really do something about it and make a difference and keep whale sharks, but keep the marine environment as healthy and as pristine as possible.'"

A lot of people know about the Great Barrier Reef and a lot of people know about sharks, but not so many know about Ningaloo and the fantastic conservation work that has been going on to develop an ecotourism park where the whale sharks can come back from being nearly extinct. The project has been going on for years and is a tribute to the painstaking work of environmentalists and then the careful enthusiasm of the tourists. More information about whale sharks is here at ECOCEAN.

Bush signs budget with Iraq funds

Bush signs budget with Iraq funds - : "While Mr Bush approved the overall budget, he criticised the thousands of 'earmarks' - specific spending allocations for projects and programs favoured by specific members of Congress, often for their home states and districts - included in it."

I should jolly well hope so. California needs some help and New Orleans still isn't renovated...70 billion US dollars would go a long way to bringing peace, sanity and stability to the people who have endured so much in America.

Sydney to Hobart 2007

Sydney to Hobart leaders powering south -: "Wild Oats is looking to equal Morna's record of three consecutive line honours - set in 1948."

I've got my little yacht tracker going so I can keep an eye on the race. You can link up with Google Earth from the official Sydney to Hobart site too. To me it is never Christmas without the Sydney to Hobart. It doesn't matter I am not a knowledgeable yachtie. I just know Sydney to Hobart is us. It represents our capacity to get out there and do, take on some real challenges and pit our wits against nature. The Sydney to Hobart is a spectacular race but it can be gruelling, really tough and presents some enormous challenges. Those who get through it have done extremely well and those who do not get through it are tough and courageous. It is not a race you can just do. You have to have your wits about you all the time and you have to be able to think fast, in a practical way and you have to have enormous strength. It may look like a doddle sometimes and it can certainly look awesome, but the crews which go into that race are extremely remarkable. Wild Oats got out there in front from the start and is seeming to be performing so well. It would be great for it to create history!

Miss France dethroned over sexy photos

Miss France dethroned over sexy photos : "'If I had been aware (of the pictures), she would never have been let into the Miss France competition I wouldn't want to be seen walking down the streets with a girl like that,' Ms Fontenay said, indicating she would take legal action if necessary."

Embarrassed? They need to look at what is in our Sunday Mail and on our web sites and adverts. We need to change the media before we target the competitors in beauty pageants. "Suggestive" pictures are mainstream these days. If we don't like it we need to change that first.

Ageing Hillary fights to be taken beyond face value

Ageing Hillary fights to be taken beyond face value : "WHEN men want to put down a powerful woman in a sexist way, they will say she's a hag or a nag or a witch or angry or hysterical."

Or "If she is going to wear trousers like that, she could at least put a bottom in them". Women are really abused when they get to the top in a way men are not. I think we should compile a list of the sorts of comments made about female leaders and then the sorts of comments made about male leaders. We should have a bloomin' good look at how media supports the denigration of women...and in the end they'll work out that Hilary has more balls than any of them.!

Swimming upstream, chasing a pipe dream

Swimming upstream, chasing a pipe dream - Environment - : "The plucky trout then fought against the current for 10 metres until they reached the end of the pipe - and freedom in a tributary of the River Itchen, near Alresford."

A great story with a great picture about how wild life will adapt to human conditions. What an amazing leap and achievement for the trout, but apparently the other stream will not be safer! It would appear the trout have been disappearing and the pipe leaping may or may not explain it.Maybe somebody has found trout and almonds far too irresistible!!

House prices batter British

House prices batter British : "'Rising property values have priced many potential first-time buyers out of the housing market,' Martin Ellis, Halifax's chief economist, said."

Bingo! That's what this whole property bloat is about. Pushing more and more people out of the investment market so that those with money get more and more. The current economic model is about profit. People are manipulated so that those who make money can make more. Easy peasy. We could have a model which is more inclusive but bugga that because you won't be so rich.

Drugs seized in SA, NSW raids

Drugs seized in SA, NSW raids : "About 2pm (AEDT) Friday South Australian police arrested two women and a man as they disembarked a flight from Sydney to Adelaide."

It's good they don't even get out of the airport and the police and customs are right on the ball at the moment. Thye are confident , efficient and it's how it needs to be because many people have been oppressed and pulled down by drugs and the better they are at getting the stuff the more confident the public will become and they too will do their part in ridding us of this awful, awful money making scam of scams.

Drivers face a £2,500 fine for splashing pedestrians

Drivers face a £2,500 fine for splashing pedestrians : "Using a mobile, sat-nav or MP3 player while at the wheel could send drivers to prison for up to two years.

But they could also be fined up to £2,500 for driving through a puddle and splashing pedestrians or for failing to dip headlights."

Well, Britain is certainly getting tough on drivers. It's hard with the splashing thing. I have never splashed anyone but seeing the water on the road can depend on visibility. All of the other things are in the control of the driver. Over here we need to do something about the number of pedestrians who are being run over and killed. It has been the talk of the town because it's happening far too often and around town we have become wary. It is not just cities, though. We have this rash of drivers who feel the need to run over whatever is in their way. I wish they'd catch them , but it might be easier now we have woken up to it. Too many. Far too many.

Workmen unearth murder victim – after 4,000 years

Workmen unearth murder victim – after 4,000 years : "The victim, a tall, well-built man in his mid-thirties, is the earliest example of death by spearing found in Australia. It is thought the killing may have been ritualistic, in which case it predates similar murders in Europe using 'death spears'."

How bizarre. I haven't seen this reported in our news and yes, it's significance is considerable. I expect the aboriginal people will be able to put it into context...and the find itself will help us to understand how people lived thousands of years ago. It's amazing. Have they turned the site into a dig?

Most of SA drenched

Most of SA drenched: "'We think the rain is great - good for the farmers, good for the lawns and cleans up the city. This is fantastic.'"

Yes, we have loved the rain ,but we have been dancing in between the showers and getting drenched as we try and get to and from cars with our Christmas shopping. We weren't thinking rain. We were thinking Christmas. It had been hot and dry and the summer clothes felt good. Suddenly we are scrambling for jumpers and umbrellas...but the garden has welcomed this nice drink and the birds have been so happy. It has actually got some creeks and waterways running and that's a good sign. Bad luck they filled in our beautiful lake in Rymill park. It would have relished this downpour.

Will taking vitamin B stop mosquitoes biting you?

Will taking vitamin B stop mosquitoes biting you? :

"# wear long, loose, light-coloured clothing
# use a repellent containing DEET or picaridin (avoid your face and wash your hands after applying, make sure kids use one that's suitable for them)
# sleep under a mosquito net and close any unscreened windows
# keep your home and garden free of mozzie breeding sites."

In my 20s I was always being bitten by mozzies and came out in big red lumps. Then it stopped. I am hardly ever bitten and it just turns into a tiny dot which isn't even itchy. I often wondered why. I do take Vit B on a regular basis. Maybe it helps, maybe it doesn't. I don't wear perfume anymore. It would be really good to know why some people get bitten badly and why. At the time it was very upsetting because the lumps were so big and itchy...and everywhere. Made me very self conscious. My daughter gets bitten but not that much. It doesn't seem to be odd. It would be good to have a definitive answer. In my experience women and children are much more troubled by mozzie bites than men.

Caviar d'escargot slithers onto the menu

Caviar d'escargot slithers onto the menu : "IF you want your guests to linger over an exclusive entree at a festive dinner party, why not try a novelty in slow-food - snail eggs."

I like snails. Enjoy them...but linger over small eggs? I do not think so. They get all over my plants in winter and I am not in the slightest bit driven to gathering them and slopping them on a bit of delicious baguette . They apparently taste like undergrowth after the rain. Not that I'd actually want to have that kind of flavoursome experience.

Adelaide's east parklands lake dries out

Adelaide's east parklands lake dries out : "Mr Rossis questions why private swimming pools are still allowed to be filled in Adelaide but a public space is being allowed to run down."

It was on the news tonight ,at last, but it's been on our lips because we are gobsmacked. The lake in Rymill Park was really nice and it made that park really good to visit. We are bit astounded by what is going on at the moment...the lake has been filled in and looks awful, the grand stand hoo-ha continues, no trainline extension for the South and the city has become stiflingly hot. Full of hot air. Time to blow a few breezes through, eh, and take a leaf from the Botanical Gardens notebook and CARE for our environment. No way should private pools be more important than community facilities. We have great beaches. In terms of priorities our environment is more important. We are not happy!!

Deck the halls with devastating weeds

Deck the halls with devastating weeds: "Other dangerous plants were pampas grass, asparagus fern, sheenas gold and cotoneaster, she said."

I knew about ivy from first hand experience. it goes mad here and keeps seeding new plants. I had mine cut down and then carefully took the seedlings out of the garden. The neighbours on one side have let it grow again...it's really destructive of other plants, weighs a tonne and ruins fences. The holly I did not know about. I had a holly bush at my last home and it was compact, stayed compact and was never a problem. Perhaps because it was in poor soil and dry most of the time! This article gives you a link to our well known devastators!

Japan harpoons US on humpback deal

Japan harpoons US on humpback deal : "'To take this sort of action without first picking up the phone seems very unfortunate and smacks to me of inexperience.'"

Oh really? na na na na na! I am so glad to be shot of sniping , childish politics and it's about time they and the media learnt. We do not deserve it. We never did. It diminishes us but it's also heartily irritating. It's been great to have a Government who just talks to us, gets out there and picks up on what we are on about, tunes into us and then delivers some kind of an intelligent, considered response. The inexperience from the stupid, childish comments we get shows up really well now. As for the whaling...well, we'll just have to keep on keeping on and deciding what we are prepared to accept. If nothing else we can keep Japan honest and that's what friends are about. Friends are about calling you to account and they do not accept stuff and nonsense. We do not want to be party to whaling and we do not want it in our waters. If the Japanese want to eat whale then that's a different matter to be negotiated...but we eat what we want, including our national emblems!

Cuts to Vegemite sizes will jar with shoppers

AdelaideNow... Cuts to Vegemite sizes will jar with shoppers: "'It's just a sneaky way to drop the size without dropping the price,' Mr Gray said yesterday."

Oh yes, we are onto the downsizers! We look at the price per gramme or whatever and we notice when it has shrunk. Word gets round pretty fast because we want bang for our buck and we are up to here with profit margins. We want value for money and we will pay for quality...but if it shrinks there's a big reaction. We don't like shrinking staples!

Child porn raids net 31 men

AdelaideNow... Child porn raids net 31 men: "A TOTAL of 31 men have now been arrested on child pornography offences in a massive Australia-wide operation involving state and federal police."

Good. Keep going and don't stop until we have the message out there is no money in it, no point and no value. I do wonder what goes on in the heads of some men because this stuff has occurred for centuries so it's something we need to get into the open and look at in the harsh light of day. Money has certainly driven it. It has to stop. No excuses, but we do need to understand why some men are like this because most men are not. It has to be a male thing which maybe men can explain if they are allowed to do so without fear of retribution and censure. We need to talk about it openly so we can understand it ...and then stamp it out forever. It's no way to treat little children. Not in any age or any culture. So, go team you have been fantastic.

Man dies after family loses life support battle

Man dies after family loses life support battle : "His sister Isabel says she though Mr Melo was trying to speak to their father yesterday before his life support was turned off."

This family has my heartfelt sympathy. Having done one funeral and having narrowly missed another, hoping every day the wheels won't fall off again, I feel so sorry for this family. Yes, he was 29 and very badly injured but it now means they are spending Christmas mourning and having to go to a funeral. They could have had some time to gather at Christmas and come to terms with it all. Their whole world has been blown up for the want of a few days grace. At Christmas they would have talked about it. So while we take time to be with our families they have to plan a funeral and that will be hard because Christmas can be a difficult time to get people together. I just hope something will happen to restore their hope in human kind. I know the hospital has done its bit and considered this, but the timing is awful.

Desperate and Cakeless

I was. I was so bereft. My lovely, lovely brother in law who made this most fantastic Dundee cake for us each Christmas is gone. We are having an underdone Christmas. Plenty of spirit and feeling...but not too tinselly. So we were desperate and cakeless and I couldn't bring myself to make his cake nor could I insult his memory by buying one at the shop. So thank heavens for the internet. I fell upon this recipe when I was looking for a recipe for baked ricotta...we are healing ourselves through family cooking and we are all making a Christmas but quietly. Cooking really is therapeutic but it can stress you out if you think it's too hard and we thought the Christmas cake was too hard. It's not. A big cake tin, 15 mins max of stirring. I used fig jam and not marmelade. I used sherry. I added a bit of cinnamon, lots of mixed spice , nutmeg and 2 packets of red glace cherries. I crashed out in the chair for the 2 and a half hours it baked. I have been very complimented...everyone loves the cake. Weighs a tonne so a little goes a long way.

So, you can do it. Here's how!

Vista

While I have been busy doing awful, I have seen the world with new eyes and I have had to use my computer differently . In the middle of the chaos I lost my CD/DVD player on my Vista desktop. Just vanished. Nowhere to be found in My Computer and a big yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager. I had little time to try and solve it. I did what I could to no avail. The first time I went on the support site for Microsoft I found nothing. This week I found the very thing and bingo my CD/DVD player is back in business and playing the Choir of Hard Knocks. I also lost my internet connection but that seemed to be par for the course in Adelaide at the beginning of November and until after the election. It was weird. Computers were playing up everywhere. I resurrected my connection using a wireless adapter. Daft, but still, it actually is a better connection than through the modem. Vista on my laptop has never ever been a problem. Vista on my desktop gets a bit bonkers every so often and seems to be a bit tantrummy. I think it is much misunderstood. Everything about Vista is there to help you. I have had all sorts of support but not necessarily in the way I thought! It tries to work with you but is very controlling and security conscious. It also tends to drive you to paid products...but you decide if you buy or not! I have bought Registry Mechanic because it's a good programme and I bought the Office 2007 Professional suite because it is great to work with and everything I have produced using it has had compliments. Makes me look so good!! Even though Vista on my desktop can be annoying I have to admit it's got some great features and has taught me a lot....like how to find a lost CD! The search function is brilliant and will turn up your file in 2 seconds. I think you need to be patient with it and work out what it is trying to do. It has solved all my problems and worked with old software, an old printer, an old mouse, a less than state of the art modem. I haven't found the comments about it forcing you to upgrade at all true. I am running a gardening programme I had loaded under Windows 3.11, lots of 95 and ME programmes and I have had no problems. Just my phone cable and that was fixed by support in a couple of hours. Vista is dead easy on my laptop and a bit of a challenge on my desktop...but I like a challenge. I learn a lot.

Blog Spinning

I should particularly like to thank the people in Australia, USA and UK for keeping my blog spinning in my absence. Korea, Germany and Malaysia also featured significantly in the visits and people from France, the Czech Republic , Mauritius and Norway also did their bit. I cannot thank you enough. While I was doing awful and doing my bit to keep the lives of others going as I waded through massive amounts of challenges, stress, emotional upheaval, pain and sadness, you people have been so kind to me and I thank you. It means I can come back with a good feeling about the blog because it wasn't abandoned. I may have to stop again over Christmas because that isn't going to be easy, but I feel heart warmed by the support I have had and you blog spinners are no exception. I also thank Stat Counter because without their stats I wouldn't know just how lovely the world can be.

VistaGlazz

VistaGlazz - Reviews and free VistaGlazz downloads at Download.com: "CNET Download.com is the safe and trusted provider for
VistaGlazz 1"

I have downloaded this, but haven't tried it yet. It's a customizable theme programme for Vista. You can't do themes on Vista so if this works it'll be great. I am a person who likes to personalise my computer and I appreciate the art work incentives this gives to people. There are some great themes out there and Vista had smothered this artistic creativity by not allowing themes. It may have had its reasons. Themes can be a source of viruses and malware and Vista is pretty hot on security. I was going to do a bit more research on VistaGlazz before I loaded it. Vista doesn't like to be tampered with!!

The CodeGazer site gives you more info.

UP to DOWN has a small review and a chance to review it yourself if you use it.

NT mother fights to keep comatose son on life support

NT mother fights to keep comatose son on life support : "Dr Notaras says he understands the family's anger but says more than 20 experts have agreed Mr Melo will not recover."

It's Christmas. The mother believes her son is getting better. If that is what she thinks, that is what she truly believes.I don't doubt the medical people are considering this carefully. He is 29 and has a severed spine. The mother needs Christmas and a bit of time. It would be such an enormous blow before Christmas and she probably wants to know he is still there. She will come to terms with reality, but that is her son. Arguing about the rights and wrongs is irrelevant. The mother doesn't want her son to die.

Men charged over candles containing ice

Men charged over candles containing ice : "Customs officers found 20kg of the drug inside the wax candles that arrived in Sydney on December 10."

Customs and police have been very tenacious and conscientious because everyday we get reports of drug busts and it's great. The heartache caused by drugs is unforgivable because it's so degrading and devastating. It's been heartening to get constant news like this because it has given us all some backbone and we are desperate to stop the exploding houses and the abject misery of drugs.

No obvious evidence of petrol price fixing, ACCC report finds

finds: "It does provide some areas for thought, some areas of concern, and some areas for further research, as well as some recommendations for action."

The prices shot up during the election, particularly the last week. it was nice and obvious. Yes, the world oil prices are up but that is manipulated and managed and it's about making money out of a resource whose days are numbered. people who make money are very good at it and they don't worry about how they make money. They switch from one thing to another. Oil is very last millennium and it needs to go and we are being used to create profits for others and we know they will always come up with the plausible response. We are not as green as we are cabbage looking and petrol prices are too high. The good news is a lot of people are fixing their bikes and walking everywhere. So it's a great bonus for carbon saving and health.

Call to press Japan on whaling

Call to press Japan on whaling: "Greenpeace Australia chief executive Steve Shallhorn said the Labor Government should keep its election commitment to send a vessel to the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary."

A sanctuary is a sanctuary and there is a very active ground swell here to stop the killing of whales. We have never stood for that and we do not want it to happen in our waters and we do not want it to occur in a sanctuary. Don't call it a sanctuary if you are going to let wild life be killed there. As for our relations with Japan...maybe if they just said we want this many whales because we eat them, we might deal with it better. The scientific smoke and mirrors act isn't fooling anyone and I guess we are just treating them like friends because we do not accept "crap" from our friends and family and we are the first to call them out and give them a serve. Japan hasn't had a serve from us and they ought to, because they have been long time friends and we are a nation who has a lot to do with Japan one way and another. Lots of Australians love and respect teh Japanese culture...but we do not like the whaling.

Online dating site offers DNA matching

Online dating site offers DNA matching: "AN online dating website that compares the DNA of its customers promises a more satisfying sex life and healthier children for couples who are genetically matched."

I'll show you my DNA if you show me yours!! Actually, it's saliva. Doesn't come more romantic than that.
