New Apartment Building for Adelaide

Oh yes, this is news in Adelaide, the fact we shall be having an 11 storey building in the city built by a Chinese developer on the site of the Brecknock pub. Bang goes the heritage, but who uses that pub? Adelaide is very bad at keeping its heritage. Other cities seem to manage. We just bulldoze and build. One of the commentors on the article said this looked like a big tissue box. When I first saw it I thought it looked rather odd and the commentor has summed it up beautifully. Do we need a big tissue box? It will end up being called that....oh, I'll meet you at the tissue box on King William Street! It'll be good to have that end of the city developed particularly if they go ahead with the Victoria Square redevelopment so we have a plaza. We need a plaza.
