Former Australian prime minister John Howard says he can not understand why his bid for the International Cricket Council's (ICC) vice-presidency has been blocked.
Well, you know, John Howard has had his time in the sun and far more than most. In all fairness he has had a considerable number of privileges afforded him through his long term Prime Ministerial position in Australia. He may be disappointed but it's not something to concern him or us. It's somebody else's turn to have a go at a great position.
