Chuck a giant prawn on the barbie!

After eight generations, yields are more than double the average, with some ponds producing world-record yields of 24.2 tonnes a hectare. The fat prawns can be 3-4cm wide and 11cm long, weighing in at 30-40g each, or 10 to a pound.

Adelaide is absolutely drooling at the size of these prawns and can't wait to get into them. We love seafood and prawns are a firm favourite at any time but  particularly for barbecuing in the warm weather. We don't have the weather yet but we have the prawns and the picture has just sent us right off in anticipation!! Thank you in advance to the CSIRO.
