NASA pays $22m for space loo : "NASA has agreed to pay $US19 million ($A22.2 million) for a Russian-built toilet system for the international space station."
They obviously spare no expense for the inhabitants of the ISS! The truth is , it has a built in water treatment works so the astronauts/cosmonauts can drink their own pee! Lovely!It is all very technological and some of these space inventions have spin offs here on earth. As long as it does not involve drinking my pee, I'll probably be able to deal with it and adapt. I am certain , those up there will be grateful for their fancy contraption. New toys are always fun.
