Rooftop statues spark suicide reports

Rooftop statues spark suicide reports The Australian: "'We had several calls a day in the early stages and are now receiving two or three a day,' a police spokeswoman said."

Do you know, it's really comforting to know that so many people would actually care about someone who might be going to commit suicide. It actually demonstrates London has a very caring community. The worst thing is that people will stop calling because they think it is art.The police will get fed up and stop reacting. It is not art. It's destructive and disruptive to community action , safety and feelings. Art doesn't disengage the connections with community care. It's a serious hazard and someone may well die because Londoners think they are art. That's terrible. If any other obstruction might cause death or injury it would be removed.
